FAQs for Families

Families, educators and health professionals report that children are losing social communication skills, vocabulary, working with others and creative experiences that are child-led. Our goal is to stimulate their creativity and communications skills through Puppet Academy. Puppet Academy engages play that may be used with the family and friends, together at home or virtually. Children ask to play over and over. It’s their performance! They love to share it.
While Puppet Academy stimulates gaming as it leverages the popular game controller to engage the puppets, it is a “game” with a purpose. Puppet Academy’s controller is what motivates the child to focus on lessons at home, and practice on their own. It specifically stimulates skills development in communication, creativity, collaboration and creative thinking. Puppet Academy is a conduit that drives collaboration between you and professionals invested in your child’s development.
Absolutely. Children like to play virtually with family and friends. They may want to share a special experience, act out a novel story or simply dialogue together in a fun, entertaining way. You can play along with your child by both being different characters in the play. You simply need to ensure you have 2 controllers.
It is our recommendation that you oversee performances for content, use, and own and actively participate in your child’s experience.
Absolutely. Two to four children can play along with your child being different characters in the play, as long as they have a controller. Whether the children are in the same room, or different homes, Puppet Academy can be played in real time across multiple platforms.
